Roberto Martinez backs Charles N'Zogbia to "flourish"

Roberto Martinez believes that Charles N'Zogbia will find his feet at Aston Villa following his move from Wigan last summer.

Charles N'Zogbia's former Wigan Athletic manager Roberto Martinez believes that the winger will make an impact at Aston Villa after an unsettled start.

The 25-year-old has struggled at Villa Park since moving from the DW Stadium last summer for a fee believed to be up to £10m.

"With a big transfer fee it happens all the time," said Martinez. "It is not something strange. What is quite clear is that Charles's quality will flourish and he will settle in."

The Frenchman has scored one goal in 21 appearances for the Midlands club.
