Wigan Athletic manager Paul Cook is reportedly close to signing a new contract with the club.
The 51-year-old, who guided the Latics to promotion from League One this season, has held talks with owner David Sharpe about a long-term extension to his existing deal, according to Sky Sports News.
Cook has guided Wigan to the summit of League One as well as automatic promotion this season, and they can clinch the title if they defeat Doncaster Rovers this weekend.
The former Portsmouth boss was named the division's Manager of the Month in April, while Latics striker Will Grigg claimed the Player of the Month gong.
Cook, who began his managerial career with Southport, has also coached Sligo Rovers, Accrington Stanley and Chesterfield.
