West Ham United are reportedly in talks to sign Sampdoria midfielder Pedro Obiang.
The 23-year-old scored three goals in 35 appearances for the Serie A club last season.
Former Spain Under-21 international Obiang penned his first professional contract with Sampdoria in 2010.
West Ham are now negotiating a deal to bring the player to Upton Park, according to Sky Sports News.
The Hammers are expected to name their new manager within the next 48 hours following Sam Allardyce's departure at the end of the 2014-15 campaign.
