West Ham United striker Andy Carroll has admitted that he is disappointed by the team's late defeat at Everton on Saturday.
The Hammers saw their five-game unbeaten run come to an end at Goodison Park as Romelu Lukaku scored the decisive goal with eight minutes left to play.
The loss has seen West Ham remain in 10th place in the Premier League table with 10 games left to play.
"It was a tough game," Carroll told the club's official website. "We obviously had a slow start and it was disappointing to concede at the end, but that's how football goes.
"We're obviously disappointed now so it's a little bit upsetting."
West Ham are back in action this Saturday when Hull City visit Upton Park in the Premier League.
