West Bromwich Albion have held talks with out-of-contract Australian international Jason Davidson, according to reports.
The-23-year old featured in all three of Australia's World Cup group games, and the Baggies are hoping to wrap up a deal for the defender in the coming days, according to Vital Football.
Albion missed out on top left-back target Aaron Cresswell last week, with the player opting to move to West Ham United.
Davidson made just under 50 appearances for Dutch Eredivisie side Heracles Almelo in two years, but is now without a club after allowing his contract to run down.
