Scotland striker Jordan Rhodes has expressed his delight at scoring his first international goal.
The Huddersfield Town star got his name on the scoresheet in tonight's 3-1 friendly victory over Australia at Easter Road.
"You dream of starting for your country and walking out in front of the fans and hearing the national anthem," he told PA Sport.
"It gave me goose bumps before the start of the match and it was a fantastic feeling."
Rhodes cancelled out a strike by Australia's Jason Davidson when he nodded home Danny Fox's cross, before Jason Davidson put through his own goal for 2-1 and Ross McCormack put the result beyond doubt.
He added: "I am delighted. I didn't know too much about it at the time but it was a good delivery in by Danny Fox and I was delighted to see it go in.
"I tried to get myself in the position where the ball might drop and sometimes, as a striker, it does go in."
