Scotland manager Craig Levein has said that his side were well deserving of their victory over Australia in tonight's friendly.

The Scots came out 3-1 winners in the Easter Road clash, with goals from Jordan Rhodes and Ross McCormack.

"There were a lot of good performances tonight. We played like a proper international team and deserved our victory," said Levein.

Scotland came from behind to win after Mark Bresciano put the visitors ahead. Rhodes equalised with his first international goal, before Jason Davidson put through his own net to put them in front.

McCormack sealed the victory late on with a superb solo effort.
