Kidderminster Harriers sign former West Bromwich Albion youngster

Kidderminster Harriers sign former West Bromwich Albion trainee George Cater on a deal until the end of the season.

Former West Bromwich Albion trainee George Cater has signed a deal with Kidderminster Harriers until the end of the season.

The 18-year-old was released by the Baggies during the summer before linking up with Kidderminster for pre-season without signing forms for the National League outfit.

However, caretaker boss Colin Gordon, who is also the club's football development manager, has moved to bring in Cater for the rest of the campaign as Kidderminster look for a way out of the relegation zone.

After 15 games, Harriers are still awaiting their first league success of the season and they currently sit five points adrift of safety ahead of their match at Macclesfield Town on Saturday.
