West Bromwich Albion joint-assistant head coach Dave Kemp has said that Salomon Rondon put in a near-perfect performance against Tottenham Hotspur on Saturday.
The Baggies held the North Londoners to a 1-1 draw at The Hawthorns, with striker Rondon causing the Spurs backline problems throughout the match.
Kemp has said that the only thing missing from the Venezuelan international's display was a goal.
"If he scores the goal, when we had some chances, then you're saying 'it's an absolutely fantastic performance'," he told the Birmingham Mail.
"He was fantastic – he just needed a goal. If he'd have got one he would have been the match-winner.
"He ran Spurs ragged and did the same to Arsenal when they were here the other week and that's what he does. He's very good."
Rondon has scored three goals in 13 Premier League appearances for West Brom since moving from Zenit St Petersburg.
