Gary Neville is not expected to extend his contract as Valencia manager past the end of the season, according to reports.
The former Manchester United full-back has managed just three wins in 16 league games since taking up his first managerial position in December.
According to The Guardian, Neville feels that he has not deserved an extension to his initial five-month contract and will not renew unless there is a dramatic turnaround in the final two months of the season.
Sunday's 2-0 home defeat to Celta Vigo has left Valencia 14th in La Liga, six points above the bottom three.
