Juan Antonio Pizzi praises Valencia "character"

Valencia boss Juan Antonio Pizzi praises his side following Sunday's goalless draw with Sevilla.

Juan Antonio Pizzi has praised his Valencia side following the goalless draw with Sevilla in La Liga on Sunday.

The visitors were forced to play a large chunk of the second half with 10 men after Ricardo Costa was dismissed for two bookable offences, but Pizzi's team held on for a point.

"The second half is difficult to analyse. To play that long without a man down is very difficult," he told reporters at a press conference.

"They had a lot of the possession and it was clear that at some point they could score a goal. We had the character and the integrity to endure though, and withstood their attacks very well."

The draw means that Valencia are now unbeaten in their last five league matches.
