Valencia defender Joao Pereira has insisted that the club cannot afford to rest on their 3-1 win over Sevilla on Sunday.
The victory at the Mestalla has eased some of the pressure on head coach Miroslav Djukic, but Pereira has called on his teammates to remain focused in the weeks ahead.
"It is not just the coach, I think that it is everyone, when we win, we all win and when we lose, we all do so, but it is easier to remove a coach then it is 25 players," Pereira told reporters at a press conference.
"Everyone was worried, whilst we are aware that we have only won one game and we must continue. We spoke a lot during the week after two very difficult defeats ad we knew that if we were to turn it around then it would be all together, united.
"We knew we had to give everything, we were all angry, we wanted to win more than anything and sometimes people think we do not.
"Why the poor start? It lies in the way we play, we lost fewer balls on Sunday, we were stronger in the game, we did not concede an early goal and we followed up their equaliser to achieve the victory, which we think was deserved."
Valencia travel to Granada on Wednesday evening.
