Los Angeles Galaxy forward Landon Donovan has admitted that he is "disappointed" after being left out of the USA's squad for the World Cup in Brazil.
Jurgen Klinsmann cut Donovan from the roster on Thursday, along with Maurice Edu, Clarence Goodson, Michael Parkhurst, Brad Evans, Joe Corona and Terrence Boyd.
Donovan told reporters: "I'm disappointed. I'm sad. I'm human, and I wanted to go."
USA will face Ghana, Portugal and Germany in Group G.
