Torino director of sport Gianluca Petrachi has insisted that Juventus are not necessarily the favourites to sign centre-back Angelo Ogbonna.
Petrachi said that although Juventus are leading the race for the player's signature, there is still time for other teams to gazump them.
"Juve have made big steps forward, but something has gone wrong along the way," Petrachi told La Repubblica Sport. "Are the Bianconeri still the favourites regardless? I don't know, he could end up going to one of the clubs that have showed interest in him before.
"Ogbonna is a coveted player because central defenders are highly prized in Italy, but it's not been confirmed that he even has to leave at all.
"Torino are not obliged to sell him. As long as there is no agreement, we are free to talk to other clubs about him."
Ogbonna has won six caps for Italy.
