Gylfi Sigurdsson admits that he is open to the possibility of joining Swansea City on a permanent basis.

Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has refused to rule out the possibility of joining Swansea City on a permanent basis.

The midfielder joined the Swans on a six-month loan deal last month from German club Hoffenheim.

Despite admitting that he is "very happy" at the Liberty Stadium, Sigurdsson has revealed that he will not sort out his future until the summer.

"It is something to be sorted out in the summer, but I am very happy here," said Sigurdsson.

"I am here until the end of the season and I want to help the team stay in the Premier League and then we'll see."

The 22-year-old opened his Swansea goalscoring account on Saturday against West Bromwich Albion.
