Swansea City manager Garry Monk has admitted that the team have "missed" Gylfi Sigurdsson's influence during his three-match ban.
The 25-year-old was sent off during the Swans' 3-1 defeat to Blackburn Rovers in the fourth round of the FA Cup last month.
Sigurdsson, who returned to Swansea from Tottenham Hotspur last year, has impressed this season having scored four goals and supplied eight assists.
"We have missed Gylfi," Wales Online quotes Monk as saying. "The lads who have stepped in have done well for us, but Gylfi has been a real success story for us this season. He made a rash decision at Blackburn but he will be champing at the bit to get back into it and help the team."
Sigurdsson could return to the fold for Saturday's match against Manchester United at the Liberty Stadium.
