Earlier today a number of bookmakers offered odds of 5/1 for the former Arsenal and Holland striker to take over at the Liberty Stadium.
However, over the past two hours, some bookies have stopped taking bets of the 43-year-old being appointed as the man to replace Brendan Rodgers.
Bergkamp is currently the assistant coach at Dutch club Ajax.
