Report: Brek Shea to leave Stoke City

Stoke City and United States winger Brek Shea is to leave the Britannia Stadium, according to reports.

Stoke City and United States winger Brek Shea has decided to leave the Britannia Stadium, either permanently or on loan, in a bid to play first-team football, according to reports.

The former FC Dallas man joined the Potters in January 2013, but has appeared in just three Premier League matches for the club since the move.

According to the Stoke Sentinel, the club will allow the 24-year-old to seek another team in order for him to try to get more playing time.

Last season he spent time on loan at then-Championship side Barnsley, but the spell ended prematurely.
