Stoke City captain Ryan Shawcross has given his approval to the club's recent transfer business.
The Potters have brought in free agents Phil Bardsley and Mame Biram Diouf ahead of the new Premier League campaign.
Meanwhile, Fulham midfielder Steve Sidwell is understood to be on the verge of arriving at the Britannia Stadium.
"They are good signings all round," Shawcross told The Sentinel. "They are free signings, so no gambles there, and they are both very good players with a good history.
"They will hopefully add to our squad and improve us, and I'm sure we will add a few more."
Stoke secured a ninth-placed finish in the Premier League table last season.
