Stoke City 'close to completing Mame Biram Diouf capture'

Stoke City are reportedly close to completing the capture of Hannover striker Mame Biram Diouf on a free transfer.

Stoke City are reportedly close to finalising a deal for Hannover striker Mame Biram Diouf.

The former Manchester United forward is said to have held a number of discussions with the Potters' hierarchy regarding a free transfer.

According to Sky Sports News, Biram Diouf is taking part in more talks with the Premier League outfit at their training ground today.

Manager Mark Hughes, who signed Phil Bardsley from Sunderland yesterday, is believed to have been tracking 26-year-old Biram Diouf for the last year.
