Real Betis bargaining for Wilson Palacios?

Real Betis are trying to sign Stoke City midfielder Wilson Palacios for around £500,000.

Real Betis have reportedly made contact with Stoke City about the possibility of signing Honduran midfielder Wilson Palacios.

The 29-year-old joined the Potters from Tottenham Hotspur for £6m in 2011, but has failed to establish himself as a regular in the lineup under both Tony Pulis and new boss Mark Hughes.

According to The Mirror, the Spanish outfit are hoping to snare Palacios, who is keen to find first-team football ahead of the World Cup, for around £500,000.

Honduras, playing in their second finals in succession, will take on France, Switzerland and Ecuador in the group stage in Brazil.
