Team News: Aaron Lennon, Moussa Dembele fit for Tottenham Hotspur

Tottenham Hotspur manager Tim Sherwood recalls fit-again duo Aaron Lennon and Moussa Dembele as he makes four changes for the visit of Stoke City to White Hart Lane.

Tim Sherwood has recalled fit-again midfielders Aaron Lennon and Moussa Dembele for Tottenham Hotspur's Premier League clash with Stoke City this afternoon.

Lennon had missed Spurs' last two matches with an abdominal problem, but returns in preference of Nacer Chadli and Erik Lamela on the right wing.

Dembele was unavailable on Boxing Day after limping off against Southampton, but has shaken off a knock to play alongside Paulinho, who has completed a three-match ban, in the centre of the park.

The Brazilian's inclusion will see Christian Eriksen shifted to the left flank, where he will play in front of Zeki Fryers, who makes his first Premier League start with Danny Rose rested, and Kyle Naughton employed on the right side due to Kyle Walker's suspension.

Visiting manager Mark Hughes is without Glenn Whelan and Marc Wilson, both sent off in the 5-1 thrashing by Newcastle United, so Andy Wilkinson comes in at right-back and Wilson Palacios is handed a start against his former club.

Geoff Cameron fills in at centre-half, while Stephen Ireland is chosen ahead of Charlie Adam, who is demoted to the bench, to provide support to lone striker and another ex-Tottenham star, Peter Crouch.

Spurs: Lloris; Naughton, Dawson, Chiriches, Fryers; Lennon, Paulinho, Dembele, Eriksen; Adebayor, Soldado
Subs: Friedel, Fredericks, Veljkovic, Capoue, Bentaleb, Chadli, Lamela

Stoke: Sorensen; Wilkinson, Shawcross, Cameron, Pieters; Walters, N'Zonzi, Palacios, Assaidi; Ireland; Crouch
Subs: Butland, Muniesa, Pennant, Jones, Ness, Adam, Etherington
