Former Juventus striker Gianluca Vialli has suggested that Andrea Pirlo could be set for a move to the Premier League next season, with Tottenham Hotspur rumoured to be monitoring his availability.
Pirlo is out of contract at the end of the season, with Juve's midfield linchpin on record as stating that he intends to play where he is made to feel important.
Vialli watched Pirlo score against his former club AC Milan last night in his role as a pundit for Sky Sport Italia and revealed that he has heard reports of contact between Spurs and the veteran's representatives.
He said: "I've heard rumours from England that there has been contact between Pirlo and Tottenham for next season."
The 34-year-old moved to Juve on a free transfer from Milan in 2011 and has enjoyed a successful spell in Turin, helping Antonio Conte's side win back-to-back Serie A titles.
