Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen to land Roma forward Edin Dzeko before the end of the month.
Spurs are facing the possibility of being without Harry Kane until March with the England captain damaging ankle ligaments during the team's 1-0 defeat to Manchester United last weekend.
Meanwhile, Son Heung-min's involvement in the Asian Cup has left Tottenham light in the final third of the field.
A number of players have been linked with a move to Tottenham, but according to La Repubblica, Mauricio Pochettino's side are considering a swoop for Roma striker Dzeko.
The 32-year-old, who has scored seven times in all competitions this season, will see his contract with Roma expire in the summer of 2020.
Dzeko has previous experience of playing in England, meanwhile, having scored 72 times in 189 appearances for Manchester City between 2011 and 2016.
West Ham United are also believed to be considering a swoop for the Bosnia and Herzegovina international before the end of the January transfer window.
