Tottenham Hotspur and Juventus could reportedly go head-to-head for the signature of Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo during this summer's transfer window.
The 24-year-old has been in impressive form for his Italian club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring four times and registering five assists in 26 appearances in all competitions.
According to Calciomercato, discussions over a new deal in Rome have stalled, and both Tottenham and Juventus are keen on his signature.
The report claims that Spurs director of football Fabio Paratici is an admirer of the midfielder, but Juventus are also keen to keep him in Italy this summer.
Zaniolo, who has two-and-a-half years left to run on his existing deal in Rome, has scored 18 times and registered 11 assists in 95 appearances in all competitions.
Tottenham signed both Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski from Juventus on transfer deadline day, with the former arriving on a permanent deal and the latter on loan.
