Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to step up their interest in Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic.
The 21-year-old is on the radar of a number of European football's top clubs after scoring 21 goals in Serie A last season.
Spurs, who currently have no plans to cash in on Harry Kane this summer, have allegedly emerged as one of the frontrunners for the Serbia international's signature.
According to The Telegraph, the North London outfit may be willing to test Fiorentina's resolve with an offer in the region of £40m.
While the Italian side are expected to demand closer to £50m, they may eventually have to reach a compromise with Vlahovic having just two years remaining on his contract.
Spurs are said to have identified Crotone forward Simy as an alternative to Vlahovic.
