Queens Park Rangers close in on Tottenham Hotspur youngster Ryan Fredericks?

Tottenham Hotspur defender Ryan Fredericks is reportedly on the verge of joining Queens Park Rangers on a permanent deal.

Queens Park Rangers have reportedly become the favourites to sign Tottenham Hotspur defender Ryan Fredericks.

The 22-year-old was recently linked with a loan switch to Rangers in Scotland, while Fulham and Nottingham Forest have also been credited with an interest in his services.

However, according to The People, the defender has been in discussions over a move to Loftus Road and a deal is now close to completion.

The report adds that Spurs have demanded £2m for Fredericks, who has 12 months left to run on his contract at White Hart Lane.

Fredericks spent last term on loan with Middlesbrough, for whom he made 19 appearances.
