Team News: One change for Middlesbrough

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka makes one change for the side that visits Fulham in the Championship.

Middlesbrough boss Aitor Karanka has made one change to his promotion-chasing side as they travel to Fulham in the Championship this afternoon.

On-loan Chelsea centre-back Tomas Kalas makes way for Ryan Fredericks as Boro look to move back into the automatic promotion places in England's second tier.

Championship Player of the Year Patrick Bamford is named up top for Karanka's side, while Lee Tomlin and Jelle Vossen are entrusted to supply the on-loan Chelsea striker.

Meanwhile, Matt Smith can only settle for a place on the bench for Fulham, after the powerful striker was brought off with an injury in scoring in last week's 1-0 win over Blackpool.

Hugo Rodallega partners Ross McCormack in Smith's absence, while Bryan Ruiz is named in a wide role by manager Kit Symons.

Fulham: Bettinelli; Hoogland, Hutchinson, Turner, Richards; Tunnicliffe, Guthrie, Ruiz, Kavanagh; McCormack, Rodallega

Boro: Konstantopoulos; Fredericks, Gibson, Ayala, Friend; Leadbitter, Clayton, Adomah, Vossen, Tomlin; Bamford.
