Queens Park Rangers 'close in on Groningen's Tjarron Chery'

QPR are reportedly close to completing the signing of Groningen's Tjarron Chery for £2.25m.

Queens Park Rangers are on the verge of signing Tjarron Chery from Groningen, according to reports.

The Dutch midfielder will join the Championship side for £2.25m, in what will be their sixth signing of the season.

The 27-year-old is expected to sign a three-year deal before meeting up with the squad once they return from their pre-season tour of Italy, reports the Daily Mail.

QPR have already signed Ben Gladwin, Massimo Luongo, Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, Jamie Mackie and Sebastian Polter during this transfer window.
