Christian Eriksen won't walk away from Tottenham Hotspur

In-form Danish playmaker Christian Eriksen insists that he will remain at Tottenham Hotspur regardless of whether they qualify for the Champions League this season.

Christian Eriksen has insisted that his future remains at Tottenham Hotspur regardless of whether or not they qualify for the Champions League this season.

Big-name stars such as Hugo Lloris and Jan Vertonghen have hinted that the absence of Europe's biggest club competition for the third straight season could force them to look for moves away from White Hart Lane.

However, Eriksen, who has impressed in his first year in the Premier League after arriving for £11m from Ajax last summer, has vowed not to walk away from Spurs if they finish outside of the top four.

"I'm happy here and I am looking forward to the future," he told The Mirror. "For me, the feeling I have at the club isn't dependent on being in the Champions League."

"Our aim now is to win all our matches so that we end the season with some confidence ahead of next year and if we do that, we can see where it takes us in the table."

Eriksen created two goals and scored another as Tottenham thrashed Sunderland on Monday night to move to within five points of rivals Arsenal in the race for the final Champions League qualifying spot.
