Atletico Madrid are eager to sign Tottenham Hotspur full-back Kieran Trippier for £25m, according to a report.
The 28-year-old made 38 appearances for Tottenham in the 2018-19 season, but lost his place in the England squad to Trent Alexander-Arnold.
According to The Mirror, Atletico have made signing Trippier a priority after the departure of Juanfran on a free transfer.
It is believed that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino is willing to cash in on the 28-year-old, with Spurs already having two other right-backs in Serge Aurier and Kyle Walker-Peters.
Trippier had previously been linked to Manchester United, but their interest has cooled significantly after completing their £50m move for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
Atletico are now at the front of the queue, having just received £107m for Antoine Griezmann.
