Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has returned to a strong starting XI for the Premier League game against Stoke City after resting key players in midweek.

Hugo Lloris, Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Christian Eriksen and Kieran Trippier were all left out of the squad to face APOEL in the Champions League but are back into the team to face Mark Hughes's men at Wembley Stadium.

Ben Davies, Mousa Dembele and Jan Vertonghen were all on the bench in midweek and are also back in the starting XI along with Son Heung-min.

Davinson Sanchez is serving a suspension following his red card at Watford, while Toby Alderweireld and Victor Wanyama are both injured.

As for Stoke, they make two changes as former Spurs man Kevin Wimmer replaces the injured Bruno Martins Indi.

Meanwhile, 18-year-old Tom Edwards comes in on the right as Peter Crouch drops to the bench against his former club.
