Team News: Hugo Lloris, Ryan Mason start for Tottenham Hotspur

Hugo Lloris and Ryan Mason both return to the starting lineup for Tottenham Hotspur's match against Stoke City in the Premier League.

Hugo Lloris and Ryan Mason have both been named in the starting lineup for Tottenham Hotspur's match against Stoke City at White Hart Lane.

The goalkeeper was only fit enough to be included on the bench in the opening match against Manchester United last weekend, but comes in for Michel Vorm this afternoon, while Mason is preferred to Nabil Bentaleb following the 1-0 defeat at Old Trafford.

Meanwhile, Mark Hughes has made one change to the side that were narrowly beaten by Liverpool at the Britannia Stadium last season.

Marko Arnautovic comes into the starting lineup ahead of Charlie Adam, who drops to the bench, while new signing Xherdan Shaqiri will have to wait for his debut while he serves a suspension picked up while playing for Inter Milan last season.

Tottenham Hotspur: Lloris; Walker, Alderweireld, Vertonghen, Davies; Dier, Mason, Chadli, Dembele, Eriksen; Kane
Subs: Rose, Bentaleb, Lamela, Vorm, Trippier, Alli, Carroll

Stoke City: Butland; Johnson, Cameron, Muniesa, Pieters; Whelan, Van Ginkel, Walters, Afellay, Arnautovic; Diouf
Subs: Given, Ireland, Joselu, Adam, Sidwell, Crouch, Wollschied
