Harry Kane "happy to be playing" at Tottenham Hotspur

Harry Kane admits that he feels "great" after scoring his third goal in successive games for Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has admitted that he is simply "happy to be playing" having scored his third goal in as many games for the club.

The 20-year-old has been given increased playing time under Tim Sherwood of late, and he has repaid his manager's faith by finding the net once more against Fulham in Spurs' 3-1 victory earlier today.

"It's been great to get some starts and three in three is great," Kane told BT Sport following the game at White Hart Lane. "I'm happy to be playing. You've got to take your chances at the very top level and I've been able to do that when I've been playing."

When asked about his teammates' relationship with Sherwood, the Englishman said: "Everyone gets on well with him. He's a great manager, we've been getting good results and scoring a lot more goals."

Tottenham are sixth in the Premier League table following the victory.
