Harry Kane vows to improve at Tottenham Hotspur

Harry Kane says that he wants to do "even better" next season, after ending the campaign with 31 goals for Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has said that he wants to improve upon his fine goalscoring form next season.

The 21-year-old has enjoyed a stellar campaign and has scored 31 goals in all competitions to help fire Spurs back into Europe.

His performances at club level earned him a call-up for England and he came off the bench to score on his debut in a 4-0 victory over Lithuania in March.

While Kane has admitted that it has been a great season for him, he is only focused on improving and is already looking ahead to scoring more goals in the next campaign.

"It's down to me," The Mirror quotes him as saying. "I'm a hard worker, I'm always going to try and improve and progress.

"That's all I have to focus on, how I can get better and do even better next season. That's down to me and hopefully we can do better as a team.

"Obviously it has been an unbelievable season and definitely one I won't forget. But I have a long way to go, next season I have to try to do even better."

Kane scored 21 goals in the Premier League, finishing five behind the division's top marksman Sergio Aguero.
