Pep Guardiola will not take up an offer to become Juventus's next manager as he plans to stay at Manchester City for another couple of years, according to a report.

Pep Guardiola has reportedly informed his Manchester City bosses that he has no plans to quit to club in the next two years.

The 48-year-old is on course to become the first manager in a decade to retain the Premier League title, as his side sit a point in front of Liverpool heading into Sunday's final round of fixtures.

City are also in the running to become the first English side ever to win a clean sweep of domestic trophies, having reached the FA Cup final and already secured the EFL Cup.

According to The Express, Guardiola has given the Citizens a major boost by assuring the club that he will not take up an offer to join Italian champions Juventus in the summer.

Speculation mounted last month that the Catalan could be tempted by a new challenge abroad if he retains the Premier League title, but the report suggests that he is instead desperate to win the Champions League before quitting the Etihad Stadium.

Juve may now turn their attention to Tottenham Hotspur chief Mauricio Pochettino as they seek a potential replacement for Massimiliano Allegri.
