Tottenham Hotspur defender Michael Dawson is set to be offered a new contract at the club, according to The Mirror.
Manager Andre Villas-Boas is set to reward his skipper a new deal following a string of fine performances this season.
Last summer Dawson almost left Spurs after Queens Park Rangers had a bid in the region of £9m accepted, but the 29-year-old turned down the move in favour of fighting for his place at White Hart Lane.
According to reports, Villas-Boas admitted that he was wrong to try to sell the defender and is set to offer him an increase in his £40,000-a-week wage.
