Vicente del Bosque extends Spain deal

Vicente del Bosque claims that he has extended his contract with the Spanish Football Association.

Vicente del Bosque has claimed that he has "renewed" his contract with the Spanish Football Association.

Despite no confirmation from the FA, Del Bosque told Onda Cero radio that all parties have reached an agreement.

It is believed that the new deal will take the former Real Madrid coach up until the conclusion of the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.

Del Bosque, who took charge of the national team in 2008, has guided his side to success in the European Championships and the World Cup.
