Southampton are reportedly open to offloading striker Rickie Lambert in the January transfer window.
The 31-year-old, who has been at St Mary's since 2009, made headlines when he scored on his first cap for England and was later added to the squad for the Three Lions' World Cup qualifiers against Moldova and Ukraine earlier this month.
Despite his form, manager Mauricio Pochettino is willing to sell the forward as he is unsure whether Lambert can fit into his style of play, according to Goal.com.
Reports have claimed that Pochettino, who replaced Nigel Adkins at the helm during the 2012-13 season, wants to make summer signing Pablo Osvaldo the focal point in his attack.
It has been claimed that the Saints would prefer to sell in January because the striker's value could dwindle by the end of the season.
