Southampton boss Mark Hughes insists that no more players will be allowed to leave the club before the transfer window closes on Friday.

Southampton boss Mark Hughes has insisted that no more players will be allowed to leave the club before the transfer window closes on Friday.

Dusan Tadic, Florin Gardos and Jeremy Pied have all departed the club on permanent deals this summer, with six more having left on season-long loans.

Although Manolo Gabbiadini has disappointed since joining the Saints in January last year, Hughes dismissed speculation that he, as well as other players, will be allowed to leave the club.

When asked in a press conference if the Italy international will leave before the window closes, Hughes told reporters: "He won't be going out.

"I like the options I've got up front, I have no intention of letting anybody else out. I'd be surprised if anyone else would go out now."

Gabbiadini could feature in the Saints' Premier League away fixture against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
