Team News: Kaan Ayhan continues for Schalke 04

Kaan Ayhan starts for the second game running for Schalke 04 in their trip to Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga.

Young centre-back Kaan Ayhan has been handed a start for the second consecutive game against Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga as Jens Keller looks to keep up the pressure on second-placed Borussia Dortmund.

The 19-year-old will play alongside Joel Matip, with the side's attacking threat coming from striker Klaas-Jan Huntelaar as well as Kevin-Prince Boateng and Julian Draxler in midfield.

For the home side, there is only one forward starting, with Franco di Santo in the lone role up front supported closely by Aaron Hunt from midfield.

Werder: Wolf; Fritz, Prodl, Caldirola, Garcia; Bargfrede, Junuzovic, Makiadi, Hunt, Elia; Di Santo

Fahrmann; Hoogland, Ayhan, Matip, Kolasinac; Neustadter, Goretzka; Obasi, Boateng, Draxler; Huntelaar
