Saint-Etienne winger Banel Nicolita has revealed that he would like to play in the Premier League amid rumours linking him with Fulham.
Romanian newspapers have reported a potential move to Fulham and, while he has heard nothing concrete, Nicolita has said that he plans to discuss it with the St Etienne managerial team.
"I don't know anything about this transfer but as far as I know there are no reasons why I couldn't leave," Sky Sports News quotes Nicolita as saying.
"When I get back to France I will have a discussion with the bosses from the team if I am supposed to have a discussion. If not, I will prepare as well as I have done so far.
"I would like to play in England because it is a strong championship but at the moment I like being at Saint Etienne."
Fulham manager Martin Jol revealed on Friday that the club had signed Dutch midfielder Chris David.
