Saint-Etienne starlet Kurt Zouma is reportedly on the verge of a move to oil-rich Russian outfit Anzhi Makhachkala.
The 18-year-old centre-back was linked with Liverpool and Manchester United last summer, but chose instead to sign an extension to his deal with Les Verts.
However, L'Equipe claims that the Dagestan-based club - who play their home matches in Moscow - have broken the Ligue 1 club's resolve with a bid of £8.5m.
Zouma, who will represent France at the Under-20 World Cup in Turkey, is already said to have toured Anzhi's facilities and will sign a five-year deal in the coming days.
The highly-rated teenager came through the youth ranks at the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, making 18 appearances last season.
