Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang insists that he wants to carry on playing for Saint-Etienne and is determined to lead them to Champions League football next season.

Saint-Etienne striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has said that he wants to remain at the club beyond the summer.

The 23-year-old Gabon international has been in impressive form this season, scoring 14 goals in 25 Ligue 1 appearances.

"You never know what will happen in life," he told beIN Sport.

"If we qualify for Europe, that could change things. Why not play in the Champions League with Saint-Etienne next season?"

Saint-Etienne are currently fifth in Ligue 1 with 44 points from 26 matches, just two points off the third and final Champions League slot.
