Team News: Robbie Keane ruled out for Republic of Ireland

An abductor injury forces Robbie Keane to miss the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2012 qualifier with Armenia tomorrow.

Captain Robbie Keane has failed to recover from an abductor injury in time for the Republic of Ireland's Euro 2012 qualifier with Armenia at the Aviva Stadium.

The LA Galaxy striker, who sustained the injury during Friday's 2-0 win in Andorra, has been replaced by West Bromwich Albion frontman Simon Cox.

Wolverhampton Wanderers full-back Stephen Ward is another player who misses out because of suspension, with Stephen Kelly coming into the side.

Centre-back Richard Dunne also returns to the starting lineup following a one-match ban.

Ireland team: Given; O'Shea, Dunne, St Ledger, S Kelly; McGeady, Whelan, Andrews, Duff; Doyle, Cox.

Armenia team to follow.
