Valencia president Amadeo Salvo has denied that Real Madrid have made a move for Los Che left-back Jose Gaya.
The 19-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best young defenders in European football and has become a key player at the Mestalla this term.
Last month, it was reported that Real Madrid were confident of signing the Spaniard this summer, but Salvo has insisted that the defender is not for sale.
"Valencia will fight for its rights, as we have always done. The player isn't for sale and we're not going to enter into any negotiations. He doesn't have a price," Salvo told Cadena COPE.
"It's not true that Madrid want to move for Gaya. Florentino Perez (Real Madrid's president) has told me they don't want him."
Gaya's current deal at the Mestalla does not expire until 2018, but it is understood that Valencia are preparing a new contract in order to raise Gaya's release clause.
