Report: Real Madrid want Ricardo Rodriguez

A report claims that Real Madrid want to bring Wolfsburg left-back Ricardo Rodriguez to the Bernabeu this summer.

Real Madrid are reportedly interested in bringing Wolfsburg left-back Ricardo Rodriguez to the Spanish club this summer.

As it stands, Los Blancos have two first-team left-backs on their books, but while Marcelo's future is secure at the Bernabeu, Fabio Coentrao continues to be linked with a move away from the Spanish capital.

According to Marca, Swiss international Rodriguez has emerged as a prime target for Real Madrid in a move that will see Coentrao depart the club.

Rodriguez, who represented his country at the 2014 World Cup, is contracted to Wolfsburg until 2019 and could cost in the region of £20m.

Real Madrid have been fairly quiet in the transfer window thus far.
