A report claims that French left-back Ferland Mendy is on his way to Real Madrid as terms have already been agreed between the La Liga giants and Lyon.

Real Madrid have already agreed a deal with Lyon for left-back Ferland Mendy, according to a report.

The Spanish giants have so far signed Eder Militao from Porto and Rodrygo Goes from Santos for £43m and £39m respectively ahead of next season.

Eden Hazard is expected to be the next big-name arrival at the Bernabeu, with his unveiling rumoured to have been scheduled for Monday, and AS suggests that the spending will not stop there.

Terms are said to have been agreed for Lyon defender Mendy, who is also believed to have been a target for La Liga rivals Barcelona.

Mendy, seen as a direct replacement for the long-serving Marcelo, is currently away on international duty with France.

The report also indicates that Sergio Reguilon will spend 2019-20 out on loan after being demoted to third-choice left-back.
