Real Madrid will not allow summer arrival Luka Jovic to leave the club on loan this summer, according to a report.

Real Madrid are reportedly not prepared to allow Luka Jovic to leave the club on loan this summer.

Los Blancos only completed a big-money move for the centre-forward at the start of June.

However, a recent report had claimed that the 21-year-old would be available on loan this summer after failing to impress head coach Zinedine Zidane during pre-season.

Eintracht Frankfurt had been linked with a swoop for their former attacker, but according to Bild, Madrid are not prepared to allow the Serbia international to depart.

Jovic scored 36 times in 75 appearances for Frankfurt before joining Madrid, who are said to have beaten a number of clubs to the striker's signature.

Zidane's side will look to put a turbulent pre-season behind them when they travel to Celta Vigo in their 2019-20 La Liga opener on Saturday afternoon.
