Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba is reportedly still hopeful that he will be able to complete a move to Real Madrid before the Spanish transfer window closes at the start of September.
Pogba has been strongly linked with a move to the Bernabeu throughout the summer, although United are said to be unwilling to drop their £180m valuation of the France international.
The 2018 World Cup winner was heavily involved in his team's pre-season preparations before impressing in the 4-0 win over Chelsea on the opening weekend of the 2019-20 Premier League campaign.
The midfielder admitted after the Chelsea clash that his future was still uncertain, though, and according to Marca, Pogba has not given up on the hope of a late switch to the Spanish capital.
Madrid are currently preparing for their La Liga opener against Celta Vigo on Saturday afternoon, while United are building towards Monday's trip to Wolverhampton Wanderers in the Premier League.
Juventus are also still said to be interested in re-signing the 26-year-old, who won four Serie A titles with the Italian giants before returning to Old Trafford in 2016.
